My name is Dr. Christopher Hove, and I'm a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. I was completely fascinated with the field of medicine. At the same time, I was developing a lot of artistic skills and talents, and being very involved in drawing, and painting, and sculpting. And I found that facial plastic surgery offered a great way to blend those two interests. To me, that's the most gratifying part of what I do is that I'm able to use those skills in a beneficial way and see such a positive response from our patients.
When you come to our office, we want you to feel very relaxed, and comfortable, and not intimidated. By far, the most favorite part of my job is seeing the patients' reactions afterwards and hearing how their lives have changed because of the results and because of the work that we've done. I recall one patient in particular who came to us regarding a concern that she had with the shape of her nose. It had been bothering her her entire life. We had an in-depth discussion, we performed her surgery, and her personality afterwards just all of a sudden opened up and she felt that she finally was comfortable in her own skin.
